This year has been strange and challenging for all of us. There have been so many ups and even more downs that it’s been difficult to cope with it all. Now 2020 is coming to a close, giving us hope for a better tomorrow. And it’s time to take a moment and look back at everything that’s happened throughout the year.

We’ll take such a moment in this post by reflecting on how far we've come in 2020. We’ll also give you a sneak peek at what we have for 2021.

💜 The platform

We love how UXPressia helps you create better experiences for your customers, buyers, and users. We are committed to making your great job easier and faster by continuously improving our platform.

This year was exceptional for the whole UXPressia team, both in terms of the work-from-home format, which was new to some of us, and the number of exciting things we did on our platform thanks to your help.

We started off this year with a big release we’d been working on for months. It was the brand-new dashboard, which came along with folders and the new, read-only, Viewer role.  A few months later, we released the Connections View for project pages and enabled password-protected direct link sharing.

We also brought many new features to CJM, Personas, and Impact Map tools. Now you can:

Without your ideas and engagement, the list would be times shorter. So keep the feedback coming 😉

📚 UXPressia Academy

Our online educational platform is evolving, and we are proud of its accomplishments. This year,  UXPressia Academy launched the Spanish version of the Customer Journey Mapping Fundamentals course.

We also published two new interactive courses:  Personas Fundamentals and Customer Interview Techniques.

There’s a free demo inside each course to give them a try before diving into learning.

🎥 Events

In 2020, our work was not only about the platform but also about our community. We held 19 online events where participants from 50 + countries networked and learned from our in-house and guest experts talking about journey mapping, CX, and UX.

We transferred our offline workshops to the virtual format and did four workshops on interviewing for English and Russian language speakers. And that is not all — we ran our first-ever webinar, and it was a true blast!

Plans for 2021

We already have many awesomely ambitious plans for 2021:

The platform

One of the major releases will bring the version history and functionality-rich team library. And even more great features are coming!

Events

We’re planning to run even more events next year with CX, UX, and journey mapping experts from all over the world. If you didn’t know about our events, be sure to attend them next year 🤓

UXPressia Academy

More educational materials will become available on this platform. So be sure to keep an eye on it in 2021.

Thank you for being with us in 2020. May you and your family stay safe and healthy!

Wishing you all the best in the next year!

Love,
UXPressia team
